Notes
Note
Rachel Gladys Wilson: Various sources including note from John & Margot's family tree and Sheilah Anderson - Rachel was known as "that woman". Some of her sister-in-laws accused her of stealing money from a purse from one of their baby's prams. She and her husband were ex-communicated from the wider family.
From the 1911 census, Rachel was one of five surviving children (two siblings had died) of Andrew Wilson, police inspector in South Shields, born in West Rainton, and Jane Watson (see Elizabeth Watson Tinmouth), born in Fatfield. Rachel was a shop assistant, aged 15, for the Co-operative Wholesale Society.
