Elsie May Longhurst and Alfred Edward Lillywhite: Alfred and son Robin, aged 6, departed from Southampton for Cape Town, South Africa. The home address given on the departure manifest was 21 Carisbrook Road, Brighton, which is the same road that his parents lived when he was baptised, and not the marital home. I'm assuming that the marriage had broken down and that Alfred was taking his son for a new life in South Africa.
